Little profile about OLAMIDE (ybnl) Olamide Adedeji, popularly known by his stage name Olamide or Baddo by his fans, is a Nigerian Hip-Hop recording artist from Ogun State. He records his music mostly in Yourba language his native tongue. He currently records under YBNL Nation Entertainment, of which he is CEO. In 2011, he released his debut studio album Rapsodi. YBNL, his follow-up album, was released under his label imprint YBNL Nation. On 7th November 2013, he released his third studio album Baddest Guy Ever Liveth. Olamide currently holds the record of the most number of nominations at the Headies and highest number of awards won at a single Headies event in 2013. He also became an Etisalat Ambassador in 2013 and had concerts in Dubai and Ghana. . Olamide has shown his relentless consistency in maintaining his lead as one of Nigerias most talented and prolific indigenous exports. The year 2014 has been an interesting and remarkable one for him. He became an ambassador by leading beer brand Guinness® Foreign Extra Stout for the Made of Black™ Campaign, had his first official UK tour, touring five (5) cities, had concerts from Dublin to Cyprus to South Africa, participated and recorded Coke Studio 2 and has been nominated for 27 awards at 9 award shows winning two (2) at the NMVA and one (1) at the Channel O Music Awards. The year also saw the release of a fourth studio album – Street OT, the second in a one year period and also his first ever Nigerian concert OLIC – Olamide Live in Concert on the 28th December 2014 at the Expo Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites. The brakes are not on yet as 2015 looks to be an even better year with a lot more in store. Olamide loves to eat fish, loves video games and spends some of his free time playing different games especially soccer – FIFA 15 and PES 2015.
