Little red riding-hood we all know her with the basket of goodies - TopicsExpress

Little red riding-hood we all know her with the basket of goodies for Granny. The wolf at her side appears to be quite tame, but the girl maintains a firm grip of its neck. The old rascal had made her believe that if she kissed him , he would turn into a prince. Not knowing, where to kiss the beast, the wolf insisted that it must be on his mussel, with intertwined tongues, the whole works of swapping bacteria. The prospect of getting a prince for a husband outweighed her scruples but as she got closer to the mussel with its menacing teeth, she fainted for the atrocious smell which came right from that carnivores stomach. Too many devoured grannies produced this unbearable stench. She was pondering in her mind what kind of a wolfy prince this beast would turn into , if he spoke the truth. We can only guess and hope, he will be handsome and rich and smelling like gingerbread all year round But here comes the knight in shining armor, Frederic Chopin is his name and he comes all the way from Poland. Him and the likes of him, the famous winged horsemen had made the turks a- tremble, when they broke the siege of Vienna on the 12th of September 1683. The artist of this painting as a pacifist refuses to paint war scenes . So he asked his polish friend Martin what to do with this rider and he suggested to give a vacuum cleaner to the hero of 1683 and with this he has been cleaning the surface of Earth ever since, mostly cigarette butts , left by Sunday tourists. With little success if we look at some beaches on Gran Canaria. However, in this picture we may be victim of an optical illusion for it seems that instead of cleaning the ocean floor,he sucks up the bad breath of the big bad wolf. Obviously the vacuum cleaners dust-bag has been removed by the administration so it blows whatever it sucks up from the ground, into the air we breathe, a reminder of the futility of mans endeavor. Stardust we are and ever shall be. But while this dust has clustered into eyes, mouths and so on , we see a vast quantity of grannies with all their ancestors whirling in midair . If we ask the artist about the meaning of all this , he puts on his enigmatic smile and says: “I paint what I like to see , leaving the rest to the news media”. As the thousands of ancestors are cluttering up our vision of Heaven, with all their demands, laws and prohibitions, we recognize Dulcinea del Toboso, the dream Virgin of all traveling knights ever since Don Quixote de la Mancha had set his eyes on her. A vision which inspires every hero to keep going in his futile quest to make this planet a better place like your humble servant, the author of this painting. Every square inch of his paintings is a better place after the artist converted the white canvas into a spiritual entity, investing time and imagination to make this little part of Earths surface a better place. Behind Little Red Riding-hood rises a magic mountain which seems to consist of primates like us, engraved for all eternity in the cliff so that our successors , after humans have long been extinct, will know, how some of us looked like.
