FIRST READING Wis 2,23-24 3,1-9 For God created man - made him in the image of his own eternity . And death entered the world through the devils envy and experience it , those who belong to him . May the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them . COMMENTS Comment priest Zbigniew Priests TOPIC: With thanks to the growing joy WHAT THE WORD SAYS TO ME ? If you can make the grace of the Lord ? Say, a rhetorical question , of course not ! This is why many people fall into this rut of thought ? Why many can be fooled and treats God as a partner ? But laws of biology and physics need to discover and use them wisely , can lead to the death of a persistent belief that the world has to act like a man shall command him . The truth of the Creator is the same : quickly and effectively reaches the happiness a man who every day will seek Gods will and who will seek the Lords grace of God as earnest meet . Wisdom from the first reading helps you see things of this world in its proper perspective : that which is transient can not dominate what determines eternal life. The Lord Jesus in the passage from St. John used the verse preceding the gospel ( If a man loves me , he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him ) speaks of love for Him , it is also well- understood self-love , because according to God in the sense of self-love we most care for a happy eternity. CONCLUSIONS , REFLECTIONS , QUESTIONS : The text of the first reading is often used in funeral Masses , especially when many suffered and died at the same time was a sign of faith for the environment . By the Old Testament does not diminish suffering, but clearly sees , probably due to the inspiration , the correct size earthly hardships disproportionately stacked with great happiness at the side of the Creator , lived in eternal happiness . The words of Psalm strengthen those who still are not sure whether or not to follow the path of growth in trust to God. What exactly is the result? Often you can not right away, it is impossible to quickly enter the described level of confidence. You may need to start with what the Gospel tells us , of giving thanks for everything that could be fulfilled, noting the role of Grace from the sky including the responsibilities of the state to the next for all traffic ranking professional or social life.
