Live-Action Princess Jellyfish Films First Trailer The official website for the live-action Princess Jellyfish film has posted the first trailer for the upcoming film. The film stars Rena Nōnen (Amachan) as the jellyfish-obsessed otaku Tsukimi Kurashita. The film is about Tsukimi, a jobless illustrator who is obsessed with jellyfish and has female roommates who harbor diehard hobbies that solidify their status as hopeless social rejects. But everything changed when Tsukimi brings home a rescued sea jelly and a beauty queen... whos actually a guy. Also part of the cast are: •Masaki Suda (Kamen Rider W) as Kuranosuke Koibuchi, a cross-dresser •Hiroki Hasegawa (Second Virgin) as Shū Koibuchi, a guy who is scared of women •Chizuru Ikewaki (The Cat Returns) as railroad otaku Banba •Rina Ōta (The Next Generation -Patlabor-) as Three Kingdoms otaku Mayaya •Tomoe Shinohara (Ghiblies) as Jiji, who is into old men •Asians Azusa Babazono as Japanophile Chieko The film is directed by Taisuke Kawamura (Nodame Cantabile: The Final Score Part II) with scripts by Toshiya Ono (Gatchaman Crowds, Suite Precure). Kyary Pamyu Pamyus costume designer Kumiko Iijima will work on the films costumes.
