Live City got kicked off the decks tonight at Highline Ballroom because: a) the owner said not enough ppl were dancing b) someone who paid 8k for a table wanted rap But before they got kicked off a tranny dressed as marilyn monroe took the stage to sing happy birthday to the promoter. That didnt kill the room at all. *side note * I had to talk to 5 ppl to get the rider. The girl who was told to set it up via email looked at me and goes yeah i dont read emails Once the rap DJ took over he played TLC - Scrubs // Destinys Child - Jumpin // Big Pun - Still Not a Player (just the hook) // and some other stuff and the room died. People started throwing ice at the guy and he started talking shit to them on the mic. That got some oohs and aahs from the crowd. Then in order to get the room back what did he do? He played Turn Down for What and Show Me Love. Then I went to Marquee to see Sharam and it was awesome.
