Live Dead Day 10 Tonight, I sit here reflecting about a life totally laid down. As I sit here a few songs keep running through my mind. I have decided to follow Jesus. I have decided to follow Jesus. I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back. No turning back. Though none go with me, I still will follow. Though none go with me, I still will follow. Though none go with me, I still will follow. No turning back. No turning back. Take my life and let it be. Consecrated, Lord, to Thee. *Take my moments and my days, Let them flow in endless praise. Only one life So soon it will pass Only whats done for Christ will last Only one chance to do His will So give to Jesus all you days Its the only life that pays When you recall You have but one life Matthew says For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. The key to life is letting go of ourselves and welcoming Jesus and his will into our lives. In the Live Dead Journal it says we have one life to live and give. The only way we can live that life is by laying our lives down. Laying your life down is a daily choice. When we put our life in his hand God can do amazing things. Are you willing to do whatever he calls you to do? Are you willing to go wherever he calls you to go? If God asked you to eat lunch without someone that is all alone would you answer the call? If God called you to go to an unreached people group would you go? People who Live Dead will give up their plans and dreams for his plans and dreams even if it cost them everything. I want my life to count. In the Lived Dead Journal the writer says If you knew you would die this evening, how would you live today? Here am I send me? One last song: Ill say yes, Lord, yes To your will and to your way Ill say yes, Lord, yes I will trust you and obey When your Spirit speaks to me With my whole heart Ill agree And my answer will be yes, Lord, yes Pray for Djibouti Somali - Another unreached people group. These people are very hospitable. Pray that they would welcome the Lord into their lives.
