Huntsman Cancer Institute patients live elevated through the hope of longevity brought to life by the foundation’s team of doctors and healthcare professionals that provide compassionate, state-of-the-art care. Being Huntsman Strong is more than a statement, its a way of life that enables any individual affected by cancer to benefit from the latest advances in cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention strategies. The muli-colored ribbons represent several different forms of cancer that personally effect the Utah Men’s Basketball program. The late ESPN anchor, Stuart Scott was quoted saying “…you beat cancer by how you live, why you live and in the manner in which you live.”. It is important that all of us stand together and fight together. Join the Runnin’ Utes in being Huntsman Strong by bringing a new teddy bear to the game to toss on court at halftime. All teddy bears will be donated to patients receiving treatment at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital. Prior to the halftime teddy bear toss, stop by the kids zone located at portal 6 and tie a ribbon around your teddy bear to represent the cancer that personally effects you.
