Live a Faithful Life Habakkuk 2:4 “Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.” (NLT) The people were proud. The people had done many things wrong for personal gain. They had worked in vain to get what they wanted not realizing what they worked for wasn’t going to help them in the end. The people worshiped idols that couldn’t help them rather than trusting in God who could protect them. These people seem to be doing all the wrong things for the wrong reasons. We can learn from them that working for anything or anyone but God will lead us nowhere. ~Frances Copeland Lucas (SHCM)
