Live at ∞ Centro Ashé ∞ Farm! On Farm Herbal Medicine Education & Residential Opportunities!! Bryans Road, MD - 45 minutes south of DC We currently have a room available for someone to come and live and learn on our farm and group house! Residents at Centro Ashé are able to attend all courses including our Grassroots Herbal Program and much more, check out our full 2015 Schedule for all we having coming up! We currently have rooms available in our shared four bedroom two bath community farmhouse! Our home is located here at Centro Ashé Herbal School as well as Prickley Pear Produce, an organic vegetable farm. Its a very peaceful environment, relaxed, we enjoy eating meals together sometimes, occasionally hosting bonfires or potlucks for local friends, and hanging out on the porch during the summer. While the farm open to the public during class times, it is often very quiet, especially during the winter season when we do not hold classes or public programs. Classes and visitors never enter the main house, which is residents private home space. Our peaceful homestead about 45 minutes south of DC in Bryans Road, MD, we have fruit trees, herb gardens, chickens, abundant organic veggies, and more. Its a peaceful sanctuary not too far outside of the city. Were located very close to the Potomac River, and are adjacent to a 5000 acre national park as well as several state parks with hiking trails, organic farm, fishing pier, and more. It is a very easy commute for work or school to DC, Waldorf, La Plata, etc. All residents of the home receive free tuition (not including materials fees) to all of our programs here on site, this is an excellent opportunity for folks that want to immerse themselves in learning more about herbalism, sustainability, permaculture, local foods and more! This includes our Grassroots Herbal Program! Our educational programs run from April through October each year. There are opportunities to participate in our bi-weekly garden and apothecary days to learn more about herbal gardening and medicine making as well in a practical and hands on way!
