In a “closed loop” system of production, the textiles could be processed and made back into new yarn, textiles and clothes over and over again. Governments, organisations and companies has a responsibility to make this happen. However, its not solely the actors mentioned above that has to make changes. The consumers also need to change their way of consuming and participate in the new recycling and reuse systems to make the system sustainable.
