Liverpool Sound City 2015 reveal Vaccines as final headliner for May festival Liverpool Sound City have revealed rock and roll belters The Vaccines as their third headliner for the May 2015 festival. The West London quartet, who topped the album charts with their platinum-selling debut What Did You Expect from The Vaccines?, will close the opening day of music on Friday May 22. Previously announced Sound City headliners The Flaming Lips and Belle & Sebastian will play Saturday and Sunday May 23-24 on the banks of the Mersey in their new Docklands-based site. The bill will also feature drum and bass pioneer Roni Size, Canadian hardcore punks F*cked Up, Sean Lennon’s The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger and ex-Supergrass star Gaz Coombes.
