Liverpool Summer Transfer Plans: £80 million to spend this summer. Liverpool have drawn their transfer plans for next season with Champions League now secured. Liverpool will have around £80 million to spend this summer. Club owner John Henry has assured Brendan Rodgers that he will be handed a £60 million and generate £20 million on player sales this summer following a board meeting last Thursday. A host of players have been named on the wish list of the manager with few players set to be cash in to pave way for the new arrivals. With José Enriqué whose form will be tested in the pre- season, Pepe Reina, Oussama Assaidi and Iago Aspas among those that would be sold. Liverpool would look at the availability of Papadopoulos, Konoplyanka and Mkhitaryan to replace the out- going players. On loan stars Fabio Borini and Suso will also be welcome at the club. It has been told that four defenders, two midfielders and two wingers could join the club this summer as the Liverpool chief scout Barry Hunter and his team have been busy monitoring the Reds top targets.
