Liverpool chiefs actively seeking to offload Balotelli Liverpool are pushing to find a buyer for Mario Balotelli. The Sunday Express says the Reds would sell the maverick before the January transfer window closes if they could find a buyer. Despite manager Brendan Rodgers insisting the Italian is still very much in his plans, a high-ranking source within the club says Liverpool are open to offers for the striker. They know they are unlikely to recoup all of the £16million handed over to AC Milan in the summer but there have been talks with prospective suitors.
