Liverpool have open talks to sign Argentina World Cup goalkeeper Sergio Romero from Sampdoria, Metro reports. With Pepe Reina completing his deal to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, the Reds are desperate to add some competition for number-one Simon Mignolet. And according to Sky Italia Journalist Tancredi Palmeri, Liverpool have made contact with Sampdoria in regards to bringing Romero to Anfield. it is also reported that Sampdoria is ready to listen to offers for the Goal Keeper who helped Argentina reach the world cup final in Brazil. Sampdoria have set a value of 2million for Liverpool to sign the highly-rated goalkeeper, but a loan would also be considered. Romero was loaned out to Ligue-1 outfit AS Monaco last term, but was unable to feature regularly playing second-fiddle to Danijel at the Stade Louis II. Would you like to sign Romero for 2m, thats a f*cking bargain if you ask me. #Basit
