Lives were lost, people and families have been displaced, properties have been destroyed and burned to the ground. Not to mention the depression, the chaotic ambience, the degeneration of order and the desperation and the urgency of the hapless people caught in the middle of the crossfire to flee in a more safer place. Let us all hope for a fast and peaceful resolution for the conflict in Zamboanga and all the places in the world which are also having the same nightmare of raging and violent upheaval on having and going in to war for whatever objective and cause it may serve. As Sun Tzu said: Thus, though we have heard of stupid haste in war, cleverness has never been seen associated with long delays. In all history, there is no instance of a country having benefited from prolonged warfare. Only one who knows the disastrous effects of a long war can realize the supreme importance of rapidity of bringing it to a close. It is only one who is thoroughly acquainted with the evils of war who can thoroughly understand the profitable way of carrying it on. Always remember, since ancient times, it has been known that....."the true object of war is peace."
