Livid! If you have ANY allergies, especially gluten and wheat, do not take the risk and eat at Zizzis. I have been ill at the High Wycombe branch and my mum was extremely ill last night from eating at the Marlow branch. They clearly do not know how serious our condition is and do not know how to NOT cross-contaminate. I also want to name and shame a pub in Marlow who humiliated and threw my poorly mum out of the toilets for being sick due to Zizzis contaminating her food.. ODonoghues Irish pub on Spittal Street. Absolutely disgusted by their lack of knowledge about Coeliac Disease. They shouted and swore at her saying she was drunk and to get out, my mum was not drunk, she had been out with a few friends for a lovely dinner and a FEW drinks after. She apologised and explained that she was very ill and had this condition yet they still threw her out! I hope people who can relate to having allergies and the consequences of having it understand how upsetting and frustrating it is and that we CANT HELP IT!
