Living An Epic Adventure – I get asked all the time “Troy what sets you and your team apart from others who do what you do?” For a couple of years, I wasn’t sure how to answer. I did like so many others, and started talking about our skillsets, differentiations from our competitors and all the other propaganda that is common in business. Although it worked and our business grew far beyond what I ever imagined, something kept nagging at me. What I say saying wasn’t really what I wanted to get across. Plus it didn’t share our Epic Adventure. Then I ran across an old coaching session from Art Williams, and was reminded of why our team is different from all others… We don’t coach companies and individuals to create loyalty, we help them write their Epic Adventures! We show them how BUILD LONGLASTING LOVING RELATIONSHIPS with the PEOPLE THEY SERVE... ALL THE PEOPLE! From their corporate teams, to those in the field helping to build their brand to the very people using their products and services! I was reminded that in every Epic Adventure ever written, people fall in love! They are not LOYAL to a brand, product or financial statement. Instead they FALL IN LOVE with a CRUSADER, MISSION, CAUSE and VISION. They realize that somewhere along the way, their SITUATIONAL LOYALTY became and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE to change the world around them with people they are connected with at the HEART LEVEL. And that is what makes our team and firm different, and why 2014 has been one of the most remarkable years for our friends and clients, and why 2015 is already looking remarkable! Below is what I pulled out from my days with Primerica and was once again reminded of WHY I believe what I believe! COACH LOMBARDI’S FINAL SPEECH Coach Vince Lombardi, in his last speech before he died, was addressing a large corporate audience. He said, “I’m Going to Share with you ‘The Secret’ to Success in Business.” You could have heard a pin drop as they sat on the edges of their seats waiting for the answer. He Said, “The Secret, in a word is…. ‘HEARTPOWER’ Capture the Heart, you’ve captured the Person…Get People to Fall in ‘Love’ with you and your Company.”
