Living a dream fueled by NOs aint for the faint of heart. Most people dont handle rejection well. We hear the word NO and we fold shop and go the other way. But Musicians are an odd bunch. For most hearing the word NO is all it takes to quit. For others it steers them down the safe path where they they dont hear NO as much, but rarely have the pleasure of hearing the word Yes. Then theres those that use every single NO to propel themselves farther down the road chasing their dreams believing that a Yes is right around the corner. Its not always the case, but the world is a better place with Believers in it. It inspires others to try. Brings the law of averages pleasantly in our favor. Now me, I have heard NO my entire life and I thank God that I did. They have fueled my desire to win and lately those same NOs are becoming YESes. Im sure Ill still hear my share of NOs and Im cool with that. Means my dreams will never run out of fuel...
