Living in Crete all those years and only having the winter time to visit the UK meant I never had chance to see the Eagles perform live or visit Lords Cricket ground..Well that was put right at the week-end.. in fact it started on Saturday with my old pal Arthur Owen when we went up to Camden to visit The Green Note Bar a great little venue where the Kelly Lee band were playing.. If like me you like your Country music with a little Bluegrass then you will love these Guys.. Sunday was taken up with the fourth days play of the Test Match England/Sri lanka A super day thanks to Peter Carter ... How to top that? Thanks to my lovely Sister in Law Pam Wilson she, Daph and I got to the O2 Arena Monday evening for the Eagles concert..I was during and almost still am Speechless by just how good their music still is, and a fantastic bonus for me was Bernie Leadon being there to recreate that original Eagles sound.. I think I am a very lucky chap. Cheers All.. Reg.
