Living in the Supernatural! The more I began to understand intimacy with God, the more my expectation grew that God wanted to share his most intimate secrets with me. I started to expect revelation and encounters with him based on being a son not a servant. God wants to answer us when we call on him. And says in (Jeremiah 33:3 ) Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. The purpose of the spirit of wisdom and revelation is for the intimate knowledge of him. It is so we grow in intimacy not just gifts and ministry (Eph 1:17) As I become more hungry for divine encounters with God. I made myself available to him in prayer. As I trusted his Spirit more and more to take me in to the spirit. I began experience Jesus in a greater measure! Often the Lord blesses us with revelation just so we can know and experience Him in a greater way. Did Adam have to have a purpose every morning in prayer? or simply to be with God and walk and talk in the cool of the day? Does every prophetic experience have to have a ministry purpose or can it just be for intimacy? Intimacy Is God’s highest purpose! True encounters are for the intimate knowledge of him not just our ministry! We can experience things in prayer and intimate fellowship with God, just because he loves me and I love him. We need to cultivate a lifestyle of seeking for and living in the presence of The Lord just because we are called to know him. Although we cannot go into the Spirit or have any spiritual experience at will, not once when I made myself available to him in prayer did God not permit me to enter in. Todd bentley
