Lizards, Reptiles and Creatures As the year dwindles away it is getting closer to THAT time of year where the rage builds within; yes I am speaking of Christmas, as many of you would know my opinions on this dreaded time. Some of you may be aware of a homeless charity I offer my time to over this period to hide from the smiling faces of the “happy people” among you. Last year when I asked for anyone who could offer their free time, Hyde Park stood tall and showed its strength with many members volunteering and even some with less than 24 hours notice; and the time has come again to show us the strength you have been building all year, to be apart of a team and show the Hyde Park spirit. If anyone could offer anytime, we ask for a minimum of 2 shifts only, and can be either morning/afternoon or nights then please think about signing up and bringing a bit of the Christmas spirit (bubblluurrrrr) to those who just are not as lucky as us. I myself will be working the LINK centre and will be volunteering the whole week on night shift and if you would like to join me you are very welcome, please register for the LINK and NIGHT SHIFT (if it say’s its full do not believe it, give me your contact details and i’ll square it away-oh we do get VERY desperate for volunteers on night shift) Visit crisis.org to sign up and show your strength Thank you LIZARDS.
