Lk 7: 15 The dead man sat up and began to speak. And Jesus gave him back to his mother. 16 Fear gripped them all, and they began glorifying God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and, “God has visited His people!” 17 This report concerning Him went out all over Judea and in all the surrounding district. When Jesus performed miracles, people around Him believed in Gods presence. Fear, holy reverence gripped them. They would break out in praise and the media would report the Presence of God, His Mighty Acts, and that God was in The House! Question: what happened to the Miraculous? Where are the Miracles that Jesus told us wed perform? Could it be that Christians today are to afraid of failure or intimidated not to believe God for these miracles because of public opinion? Or is it that Christians just want people to like them in order to get along with everyone. Come on Church! The POWER of GOD is in us and we should pray for wisdom in utilizing this great power! Greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in this world! Lets believe GOD for miracles and let the chips fall where they may.... Let the media explain away dead men walking, blind men seeing, lame men walking, deaf men talking, the healing of a nation! They may not get it right, but they will make themselves out fools for their unscientific, unbiblical explanation! Pray for the sick, pray for the blind, pray for the lame and pray for the helping of a nation! God will hear and answer!
