Lo, and behold: conservative Republican economic policies have - TopicsExpress

Lo, and behold: conservative Republican economic policies have ALWAYS destroyed whatever state economies in which they (conservative Republican economic policies) are implemented: from California in the Reagan era to Kansas and New Jersey and Michigan and Ohio and the entire South of today. And on the national level: Reaganomics created the homeless epidemic and doubled the national debt and gave us the largest federal budget deficit ever... and completely flatlined wages for 90% of Americans. Then Clintons economic policies started us back on a path to wide-spread prosperity... until George W. Bush tripled down on those conservative Republican economic policies and TRIPLED our national debt, took the federal budget from surplus to record deficits, crashed the global economy, drove us into the Great Recession, cemented a real dollar wage decline of ~15% (real dollar means spending power adjusted for inflation), started a new homeless epidemic and created the highest unemployment weve ever had since the Great Depression. And conservative Republicans continue to clamor for those same failed economic policies. Those policies have failed in every way --except enriching the already rich-- for two hundred years (see Piketty) and conservative Republicans refuse to acknowledge the facts. Any more questions about why they are rightly called the party of stupid?
