Lobster is an amazingly beautiful font. Its an elegant script, yet its bold and legible style lends itself well to display typography and headlines. My hat is off to you, Pablo Impallari, for creating such a masterpiece. You can see an example of the font in my cover photo. There is one problem with the font, however, which only recently came to my attention; It is being used EVERYWHERE. It is rapidly becoming one of the most used fonts by web and print designers, to the point that it is becoming a cliche. To say the least, I was dismayed to learn of this. This font was to take front and center stage on my website. As awesome is this font may be, one important design philosophy is to stay away from any non-neutral aesthetic that is over used. It will eventually look cheap and unoriginal. R.I.P. Lobster. You will be missed. Its ok though, for have I found a new love. Her name is Sansita One. Shes elegant and reserved, but she has a saucy side to her. :D
