Local Championship A total of 11 riders came forward for what was to be the last class of the day, the Local 1m Championship (Kindly sponsored by Caroline Charlesworth) What we lacked in quantity we had in quality, including at least 3 previous winners, all renewing their annual rivalry for the occasion, so we had a form book, which typically with showjumping, was quickly thrown out of the window. Four riders made it through the 1st round for a jumpoff. There only thing certain at this point was the title and the perpetual trophy was going to a new home for this year. Charlotte Williams and her own Didgefleck produced a faultless clear in the fastest time in the jumpoff, to become the winner, Clare Gosdon taking 2nd with her own Billy Jean Iv, clear but a couple of seconds slower, the 3rd place going to Skye Rhianna Collingss and her own Ace Korral who had an unlucky 4 faults.
