Local Hood News editorial: There are more white folks protesting the Ferguson verdict than there are black folks. Cops broke up a crowd of protestors downtown LA on 6th street and Hope it got pretty heated. I watched several videos of black men speaking on how blacks need to get their selves together first, before marching and protesting, we killing ourselves etc. What they dont understand is the blacks who are protesting, are blacks who are actually seeking justice, the ones who get out and vote every year, righteous up standing citizens, they dont kill each other or gang bang. We cant judge the righteous blacks who sees the judicial system as an injustice system and protest against a wrong decision based on race. Just because a certain caliber of blacks choose to act ignorant amongst themselves, we should not hold the ones who are righteous and upstanding accountable for their actions. They dont reflect who I am as a person. During the civil rights era, blacks folks marched, boycotted, protest for a righteous cause, and yes, those same like minded black folks do exist today. No one is complaining about white folks protesting on our behave. People are going to jail, getting beat by cops, peppered sprayed, stomped on, killed all in the name of justice. If they all want to march and pretest together... POWER TO THE PEOPLE! Your Thoughts?
