United chairman Farouk Kadodia confirmed that negotiations were at “advanced stages” and that he would be in the market to get “one or two” players on loan from the newly crowned PSL champions in return. ● Chippa United have made a double raid of Ajax Cape Town, signing both George Akpabio and Shooz Mekuto. Nigerian striker Akpabio joins on a two-year deal with an option to renew, having spent the past season on loan with the Chilli Boys.
