Local Time Change in Russia. On October 26, 2014 at 0200 am, its planned to transfer the clock back one hour. Dear Customers, Please pay attention that Russia will convert local time to a standard time. At the last weekend of October 2014 there will be resetting of time to the standard/winter time and will remain so in the future. The new law “The calculation of time” was proposed and adopted by the State Parliament on July, 2014, signed by President and entered into force. So, October 26, 2014 at two oclock (0200 am), its planned to transfer the clock back one hour. As a result of this change, the difference in time between Moscow and Central Europe will be one hour in the summer and two hours in the winter (Moscow local = UTC+3). Also the number of time zones in Russia expected to increase (up to 11) on the territory of the country and change their corresponding values. Zoning will be held to account for time zones closer to the coordinated universal time UTC. The document also prohibits future transfers of country seasonal time.
