Local charities have once again benefitted from our force fuel - TopicsExpress

Local charities have once again benefitted from our force fuel scheme run by one of our officers, PC Steve Hinks. The Royal British Legion Riders, an official branch of the Royal British Legion, received a brand new laptop and garden marquee in November. The equipment was purchased thanks to the force fuel card scheme, run by PC Hinks, whereby officers can collect ‘reward points’ each time they fill up a force vehicle with fuel from certain filling stations across the county. Nectar points can be collected from BP as well as Texaco, Shell, Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisons stores’ reward schemes. When enough points are accrued PC Hinks then uses them to buy items for good causes.
