Local enforcement officers are trained and prepared to ticket cyclists riding on the sidewalks - but many riders dont feel safe or comfortable riding in roads that do not have well-marked bike lanes and slow speed limits. Its our belief that no one should be stopped or ticketed unless there is a safer existing alternative.
