Local film maker stabbed during carjacking this morning. Here is a narrative provided to me by a mutal friend: Around 1 am this morning, my friend was stabbed and his vehicle stolen at an Exxon near his house in Little Rock (Near Asher). My friend walked out of the gas station and this guy asked if he could buy him some smokes and a drink. My friend went inside to help the guy out. When he walked back out to his car, this guy stabbed my friend twice in the back then stole his car. My friend managed to walk back into the store, bleeding profusely, waiting for the cops and friends to arrive. The ER doctor believes he was stabbed with an ice pick and a box cutter. We found out early this morning they were superficial wounds and missed vital organs. Hes home now and going to make it. This senseless violence could not have happened to a nicer person. The car jacker was caught within the hour, in the stolen vehicle, about two blocks away from the crime scene. UPDATE: the victim has been admitted to UAMS after tests showed continued bleeding in his chest. The suspect, Ontario Jones age 17 was booked for 1st degree battery and aggregated robbery. Ive ommited the victims name by request, but Im told he is very active in the local film scene.
