Local friends - we need your help seeking a LOCATION to have a big community garage sale to benefit Hobies adoption fund within the next 30 days or so. (The adoption payment deadline of Nov. 19th has been set by the court, with $6,000 more to go.) Preferably: FREE or minimal cost centrally-located location, covered or indoors, accessible (parking / wheelchair / stroller), and in a perfect scenario at a place where we could get in the night before to price and set up everything. A Sat. or Sun. sale from 9-3 would be great. The Willie Gallimore Center would cost us $280 and the St. Aug. Beach Pier Pavillion is also at least $100. We cant justify it. Maybe a church or private school or business would donate space? Open to all ideas! :)
