Local residents are advised that some waste and recycling collections in West Lothian due on week commencing 29 December may be delayed. Council staff are working hard to ensure all collections are uplifted this week, but the higher volume of waste generated over the holiday period, combined with less working days for collections, is causing a backlog. Please check the link below for changes to collections over the next week and remember to put out your bin out by 7am (6am Saturday) on the planned day and leave it out until it is collected, as some collections will run late. All collections for the week commencing Monday 29 December are expected to be completed by Sunday 4 January.
