Local skippers telling us about large pods of hundreds of giant Atlantic Bluefin tuna in Donegal Bay jumping out of the water at high speed chasing mackerel with the large splashes interspersed with diving gannets had us rubbing the hands for a hectic night at the outing last night in Fintra but the beach was like a mill pond with no waves at all and the fishing was scratchy for the night in the calm conditions.
