Local teen Amrit Sidhu from Abbotsford, BC, has been selected to be 1 in 9 BC local field-hockey athletes to represent Canada in the Mens 2014 Pan American Youth Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico, February 4-8,2014. The event will give the team the opportunity to qualify for the first ever 2014 Youth Olympics. The cost of the February trip will cost each player $4000.00- a steep amount for families to pay upfront without community support.
