Location: Jacksonville, Florida (North East Florida) Okay I had posted this a few weeks back, but then decided to rebuild the car. However, now some financial stuff has come up and its got to go fast. Im putting up my 1987 Corolla. In the past month I have completely converted this car from an SR5 to a Blacktop 20v. I have put many hours and dollars into making this car what it is right now. However, I am putting it up because one of the rod bearings is on its way out and I dont have the cash currently to pull the bottom end and replace the bearing. I need to stop spending money on my project cars and spend it for tuition this semester. The engine is in the car, but the starter, ITBs, harness, and cooling lines are all disconnected. I was getting prepared to pull the motor and have it rebuilt when I found out that I have some unexpected expenses for school. Anyways, on to the details about her. 159XXX miles on the chassis. The Blacktop has about 40,000 miles on it. The car is clean inside and out. The only interior piece missing is a $15 clock bezel. The OEM casette deck/radio combo is still in the car and functions great. As for the exterior, the paint is original and in great condition except for the rear bumper which is fading and bubbling up. The sunroof has minor rust on it, but does NOT leak at all. Heres a list of parts thats been put into it (pretty much everything was changed for the conversion in terms of engine/drivetrain): -4age Blacktop 20v, ~40,000 miles - $1200 -Rebuilt t50 transmission with roughly 300 miles on it - $400 -Godspeed Radiator w/ Electric Fan - $250 -Exedy Clutch w/ Forged Lightweight Flywheel - $300 -ARP Flywheel bolts - $40 -New throwout bearing - $20 -New pinion bearing - $15 -New clutch master cylinder - $40 -New clutch slave cylinder - $40 -New stainless steel clutchline-to-slave line - $30 -New clutch line - $10 -Walbro 255LPH fuel pump -$100 -Jeggs Stainless Steel Fuel Line for better flow - $100 -OBX Stainless Steel Header w/ OBX Stainless Steel Midpipe - $250 -Custom mipipe-back 2.25 exhaust , very quite so you can hear the glorious ITB sound -$150 -New Bosch o2 sensor - $50 -SamQ Water Reroute Kit w/ heater core outlet - $395 -SamQ Dizzy Relocator Kit - $365 -Tweakd 20v Blacktop conversion harness - $450 -Techno Toy Tuning Short Throw Shifter - $90 -All new vacuum and coolant lines - $ehh -Fuel injectors refreshed -New coil & ignitor - $70 -All grounds have been redone to ensure good continuity -GTS Drive shaft - $100 -GTS throttle cable - $100 -159,XXX on the chassis Thats over $4500 in brand new parts on this car, save for the motor. The shell alone is worth 1500 or so. A $700 rebuild and youll have a clean 86 with tons of new parts and a completely refreshed power train. Car will of course need to be towed. My asking price is $3500 OR best offer. Please feel free to text me any time, 904.307.7369. Call only between 8am and 9pm please.
