Location: Monroeville, PA Benefits Research Rep POSITION SUMMARY: *Candidates must have 1 SOLID year of Insurance Verification experience to be considered for this role The primary responsibilities of Medical Insurance Verification Representatives are to verify insurance coverage for potential new patients and re-verify insurance coverage for existing patients in order to process patient prescription needs successfully and demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals and insurance carriers. Qualifications 1. Excellent customer service skills 2· Attention to detail. 3. Knowledge of government and patient assistance programs. 4. Understanding of commercial insurance concepts including drug cards and major medical benefits. 5. Analytical and problem solving skills. Previous Pharmacy or Insurance Verification experience preferred. Hours: Shift must be flexible; regular business hours 8:30AM 5:00PM but worker may be scheduled for 1 day per week at 11:30 AM - 8PM as business conditions warrant.
