Location: pune Gender: male I have no experience about the so called spirit but i have heard these stories from many relatives and friends... There is a stretch of road about 200 or 300 metre near MORWADA POOL(near national war memorial, southern command, pune) which leads to ghorpuri village... There are people who claim to have seen and given a lift to a women who after a while disappears from the pillion of the bike... Few incidences have been narrated wherein the person to give a lift meets a mysterious accident all of a sudden... An acquaintance of mine met with an accident the same way, when he gained conscience in the hospital he was questioning about the health of the lady and her baby he gave a lift to(nobody was found injured on the road except him)...he died a couple of days later... The strange part is the said lady disappears or the person offering her a lift meets an accident on the same location each time...localites believe that there is a temple specifically built for the purpose by their ancestors near that point, beyond which the spirit cannot enter the village. no such thing was reported last few years but people here do believe that a spirit is or was present and used to do such an activity on that road...localites here actually do not offer a lift even to known people on that road at night. Dont know about the authenticity of this story but i do believe all the people to narrate this same story...if you do doubt youl can ask localites in ghorpuri village if you ever visit here...
