Lock up your grimoire scholars, hide your virgins and paint the Elder Sign on all your windows/doors/cell phone screens, folks... because the FOURTH ANNUAL H.P. LOVECRAFT BIRTHDAY PARTY is approaching! Crawling closer across the calendar like a gibbering razor-mouthed horror, the birthday bash will be happening (where else?) at The Trunk Space on the profaned day (August 20th). The show will be hosted by special guests this year: Fishman Jack and The Worm, the student DJs from Miskatonic Universitys college radio station NYX99.9 The Deep (who will also be supplying foley sound effects to accompany this years weird tales, radio play style). But thats not all, folks! Weve got a big-time, big-deal musical guest from the swampy voodoo backwaters of San Francisco: The Slow Poisoner! Weve got local authors reading Mythos-inspired work: Bernard Schober, Richard Bledsoe, Neil Gearns & Manuel Paul Arenas! Weve got a brain-deranging puppet show by Dain Quentin Gore! Weve got a special performance art ritual from Arcana Collective! Weve also got some special, super-secret guests. And there may be a bouncy castle.* Tickets are just $10. Doors at 7:30, show at 8! With the price of admission you also get: free cupcakes! A birthday gift bag! And a limited edition Happy Birthday, Howard zine!** The Trunk Space, the producer and the hosts of the show are not responsible for any loss of sanity, hope or life during the show. They also are not responsible for any bodily mutations, mind-displacements, teleportations to hellscapes beyond space and time or overwhelming desires to commit mass suicide. Anyone asking for a refund shall be sold to the Mi-Go for brain-harvesting.*** *Okay, there probably wont be a bouncy castle... but who knows? If money and sanity are no object, it could happen... **Free cosmic horror swag is a limited time/limited supply deal, so dont be late and miss out! ***This one isnt a joke.
