Loggerhead vs Blue Crab! Great video of Sea Oat catching and eating a young blue crab at the Jekyll Island 4-H Center from last year (59 sec; no sound). Hunting live prey is great enrichment for animals in captivity and is an essential skill to demonstrate before being released into the wild. Sea Oat is the currently on display at the Tidelands Nature Center 4-H educating members of the public about Georgia’s sea turtles!
