Logging camps were common throughout the Olympic Peninsula during the 1900s, but someone murdering loggers wasnt. The site we visited last night was in the proximity of an area where these murder events took place. WSGS member and medium CaryLyn M. was aware of this location for years (engaged with a few of the spirits who were murdered) and wanted to return to get more of the story. Our intentions were to hopefully engage with the spirit of the murderer and spirits murdered to get details. I assumed that @ 20-30 may have been murdered, but it was incredibly higher according to the visiting spirits - more like 250+ over a span of 40 years. We all got some sort of visitation prior to the investigation primarily to check out our intentions and respectability. We found this out during the spirit dialog when the question was asked. Once site the energy was extremely high the result of 60+ spirits present to engage with us according to Carylyn. Many did engage answering pointed questions while others watched likely to learn and understanding how the communication process works. Many were unfamiliar with our recording device and the cameras so explanations were lengthy with a lot of curiosity. The spirits that were murdered provided us with an interesting perspective of their unique exit point, what affect these murders had on the fellow loggers along with what life was like in these camps. There werent spirits asking for help, but instead liked the dynamics of the nights Q&A session. The spirit of the murdered did come in and fielded some questions. Many times he tried to change his appearance to startle CaryLyn which had the opposite affect. Later in the night he dropped the whole scary illusion and was willing to answer some basic questions. He is still earth bound by his own choice to avoid judgment based on his religious beliefs. We explained some higher level concepts but he was content in his own matrixed early 1900s environment. He was one of the spirit that checked us all out prior to the investigation to see if we a threat in some manner. Overall, this is one of many investigation well be conducting in this area. There is much to learn from the spirits that came into visit. We have a lot of audio and pictures to analyze over the next month which should yield some validation of CaryLyn and other details.
