Here is what we discussed: President Jonathan: Hello Grandson, I understand you’ve been involved with re-education causes of the Yoruba Youth on Social Media – what are my chances in the South-West? Grandson: In Yorubaland, the Youth are genetically modified like crops. Years of military rules have conditioned their brains to work more with those who intimidated, harassed, imprisoned, killed and exiled their leaders. President Jonathan: What are Yoruba Youth’s misconceptions of me? Grandson: I don’t really know, Mr President. But you haven’t portrayed yourself like those of their previous abusers. President Jonathan: Are you secretly suggesting I give them the Gambari’s treatment? Grandson: Not really. But you will agree with me that between 1960 and 1963, the Gambari’s administration, supported by the Igbo people, abused, intimidated and imprisoned Yoruba leader –Chief Awolowo for 10 years. Mr President you will also agree with me that from 1966 through to 1999, the Gambari’s administrations exiled several Yoruba leaders like General Alani Akinrinade, Prof. Wole Soyinka, Tinubu etc. The same Gambari also imprisoned people like Fela, Tai Solarin, the Ransome Kutis, Pa Ajasin, Abraham Adesanya and many others. They also killed people like Kudirat Abiola, MKO Abiola and other Yoruba leaders. President Jonathan: Mr. Grandson, what is the point of all the list of names of the Yoruba leaders intimidated, harassed, imprisoned, exiled and killed by the Hausa/Fulani? I ask you a very simple question on how to win the votes of the Yoruba Youth. Don’t lecture me on the people killed by the Gambari. Do you hear those of us from the South-South talk about the death of Ken Saro-Wiwa, Pa Rewane and others killed by the Gambari? I don’t concern myself about dead people. Just tell me how I can win the votes of the Yoruba Youth. Grandson: Mr President, I am with you. Remember I said the Yoruba Youth are genetically modified like crops and that years of military rules have conditioned their brains to work more with those who intimidated, harassed, imprisoned, killed and exiled their leaders? President Jonathan: Yes you said that. My point is how do I win their votes? Grandson: Mr President, you will have to do the same thing the Gambari did to past Yoruba leaders to earn the support of the Yoruba Youth. President Jonathan: Are you mad? I have to kill Yoruba leaders before Yoruba Youth will support me? Ok, how do I go about that? Grandson: Simple Mr President. Start with Mr Obasanjo. Kill him like the Gambari did Abiola. Then arrest Tinubu and jail him for 10 years like the Gambari did Awolowo. Presently the Yoruba Youth see the likes of Fashola, Aregbesola, and Pastor Tunde Bakare as their real leaders. Send all of them into exile in Europe and North America like the Gambari did the likes of Wole Soyinka, Alani Akinrinade, and Bola Tinubu. Don’t worry about immunities for the likes of Fashola and Aregbesola, just do it like NIKE. President Jonathan: Are you sure all of these would work in my favour? Grandson: Yes, Mr President, notwithstanding all the atrocities of the Gambari against Yoruba leaders, today, the Yoruba Youth are the brain behind Sai Gambari for 2015. If you kill, jail and send to exile Yoruba leaders today, tomorrow the Yoruba Youth will form association and sing Jonathan for President. Also Mr President, pack the likes of Femi Kuti, Seun Kuti, Davido, Lagbaja, 9ice, dbanj, wizkid etc into prison. You don’t have to rig to win. Just intimidate, harass, kill and exile Yoruba leaders, the Yoruba Youth will support you.
