Lol. Im suddenly feeling like the Arminians and Calvinists are still saying the same thing. Just that the Calvinists caught the whole wide picture but the Arminians just a fragment of it. For example, Watchman Nee, an Arminian stated: The divine Spirit does not directly control man’s body. If man desires to speak he has to engage his own mouth—to walk, his own feet—to work, his own hands. The Spirit of God never interferes with man’s freedom of will. Aside from WORKING IN MANS SPIRIT (which is God’s new creation), He does not use any part of man’s body apart from the consent of the latter’s own volition; nay, even if man is willing, (God) does not exercise any of his bodily parts for him. From here what I can see is Watchman trying to say that God wont force man to do anything but will compel (well it seems Watchman do not like using this word) him by working in his spirit. And its after this that the man would will in his spirit to will to do Gods will; God would not force him afterwards but He will work in him to will. Hehe. But Watchman kept insisting that its mans work that count. Of course mans work count, but God had to work first for mans work to be possible and for it to count. Its like Calvinists are saying (1+1)+(1+1)=2 but the Arminians are saying, no, only (2)+(2)= Hehe... Calvinists are saying, God made the man will, and Arminians are emphasising, But the man has to will. i cant laugh!
