Lol. Once again, nice to see common sense taking a nap on The Hill. IRS Collections, I guess, is deemed non-essential and offices are closed. Sorry, but if this pissing contest is really over $ and budget, shouldnt someone man the post to collect? Before you say well at least something good came from the shut down, voicemail message clearly states all payments and due dates are still in effect, including Oct. 15th deadline for 1040 extensions. Cant make this up.
