Lola came into our hearts one day, So beautiful and smart, A dear and sweet companion, We loved her from the start. And though we knew her time would come, When we would have to part, Lola will never be forgotten, She left paw prints on our hearts. It is with a heavy heart that I must inform the group that Lola crossed the bridge today. She woke early this morning and was not herself. It didnt take long to know that today was going to be the day. Paige Pendleton Sills and myself made a promise to Lola from the very beginning that she would never have to experience another day struggling. We were able to help her cross the bridge in a very peaceful loving way. We know in our heart of hearts, Lola knew love the nineteen days she was with Paige and the Sills family. Please keep them in your prayers. AND - Hugs to our BWSN family. So many of you followed her story and sent donations from the heart. Without YOU - Lola would not of had the nineteen GOOD days.
