Lollll...As my hubby would say Happy wife, Happy life! :-). On a more serious note, marriage is a true blessing when two partners rely on God, pray together, forgive each other, respect each other, and vow to commit to one another, and love one another in the face of any challenge or adversity life may throw their way. It is unfortunate that some people paint marriage in a negative light, and others take it so lightly. We must be mindful that the devil aims to destroy families. Although some of us have not had positive examples to follow, we can still succeed if we hand over the wheels to our Lord. If youve made mistakes, let The Lord erase your faults with his matchless eraser, and let Him restore you and guide your future. Do not venture into it to it unless youre ready. Marriage takes work, commitment, dedication, forgiveness, respect, and LOTS of love, not only the one you feel but the one you consciously decide to have, and nurture. I am not an expert at this topic, but in my eight years of married life, I have experienced some of the greatest blessings of my life, overcome some of my greatest fears, and grew as a woman, a mother, and a wife. I thank The Lord daily for my husband because besides being a wonderful husband and father, he is deeply committed to God and to his family. He does not only speak of his love, he demonstrates it through his actions. I love him, not because he is perfect, but because he trusts God to mend his brokenness, and to give him the guidance to love his wife like God loves the church. Had I been offered the option to choose again, I would marry him again today. I love, and am in love with my babe Da Stephens. However, the intent of this post is not to brag about my marriage. It is to instill hope in those who believe that marriage sucks. For those who have lost a marriage, quit feeling like a failure! God can give you love again. For those whose marriage is dwindling, fight for it on your knees. For those who are thriving, keep praising Gods goodness, and encourage others. God bless your marriages! # Happy couples, happy life!
