London Metropolitan University scholarships for Pakistani students 2015 Mark dedicated 25 years to the University and over 12 years as international director. Originally beginning his career as lecturer at the Polytechnic of North London, he inspired many to be their finest. Mark was very passionate about access to education for all and introduced international scholarships to enable academically gifted students, who perhaps could not afford to study abroad, the means to study at London Met. Mark’s likable personality drew people from all over the world to him and he inspired, mentored and supported students through their academic journey. In order that his legacy continues, the University and International Students House have created a scholarship in his name. The Mark Bickerton scholarship will support one student from Pakistan covering the tuition fees for a Master’s programme at London Met. One year’s accommodation at International Students House, food will be provided, one return flight from Pakistan as well as a stipend of £400 a month is included in the scholarship. Scholarship is awarded to study at London Met on a Masters course which will lead to impact in the developing world. Scholarship is available for pursuing masters degree programme at London Metropolitan University. London Metropolitan University, UK is providing these scholarships Eligibility: Applicants must: -have an unconditional offer to study at London Met on a Masters course which will lead to impact in the developing world. You must explain how the course will make an impact in your scholarship application. -have a First Class Honours degree or the highest accolade for your degree. -have an overall IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each componet or SELT equivalent. -be a national of Pakistan. -must never have resided or studied in the UK. -must not hold any other postgraduate level qualifications. Students of Pakistan can apply for the memorial scholarship. The Mark Bickerton scholarship will support one student from Pakistan covering the tuition fees for a Master’s programme at London Met. One year’s accommodation at International Students House, food will be provided, one return flight from Pakistan as well as a stipend of £400 a month is included in the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to the most outstanding student on the basis of excellent academic performance, financial hardship and the desire to return home after study to improve lives in Pakistan.
