London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine announces the launch of their first free online course with FutureLearn, the social learning provider of massive open online courses, known as MOOCs. The course, entitled Ebola in Context: Understanding Transmission, Response and Control is interdisciplinary, and has been designed and led by Professor Judith Glynn with input from many colleagues, including staff and research students who are working in the affected countries. The course will run over two weeks starting on Monday 19 January 2015, and registrations are now open. It is designed mainly for health professionals and students.
