Long Story Warning: Today I had two goals, get the yard mowed, which was finished by 9 and see how much of an impact I could make by sitting on the couch in the AC all day. Regardless to say #2 didnt happen. About 2.5 ys ago while on a trip to Rockwall, Tx we bought a new vehicle more out of necessity than want. The old Impala had almost 200000 miles on it and had given us trouble going down and I wasnt a 100% sure it was going to make it back, long story short we left Texas with a new KIA Sorento. On the way home I jokingly said to April that we should trade it off in about 2.5 yrs and keep her a new one. Now let me mention here that there was nothing wrong with her current car other than it already had almost 70,000 miles on it, so buying a new car was the last thing on my mind. So when April came in from work yesterday she showing me pictures of a car she had seen on a video from Crain Kia, im sure she started watching video because of the bowed up guy talking. So as I hurried out the door to take the kids to the movie I told her to call and ask about ( figuring she would drop the whole deal ). She never got through to anyone last night but brought it up again this morning, again I said call and ask about it but im not driving all the way up there without knowing something. I told her she could call under these conditions. I didnt want the payment any higher than it currently was and I didnt want to spend any up front money and I wanted them to guarantee her that before I would drive to Little Rock. She called about a 2014 Sorento that had the 3rd row ( we could have used that last night ) back up camera, and tow package, her current car had none of those features. So when she calls, the guys says, we can do it, come on up. When she tells me, I say call the guy back I want to talk to him. Sure enough he tells me the same thing, im very Leary. I wasnt even dressed and didnt want to get dressed to be honest. This whole time Im thinking we are going to drive to LR and for some reason this wont work. So we take off and sure enough about PB the phone rings and its the salesman, contrary to what I thought he was going to tell April, he says why do you want that used vehicle when .we can put you in a brand new one? Mike was the salesman name. So we continue on. We arrive to find a 2015 Kia Sorento with 21 miles on it out front and Mike wheeling up on a golf cart handing us the keys, im still waiting on the catch. April drives it and of course loves it. Now remind you April had already told him the numbers we would need before we left the house. Mike takes us to his cubbie hole, offers us water and popcorn and shows us the approval sheet with a green smiley face with all the numbers we needed for this to work. By this time Im starting to get a little impressed. Next the part owner stopped by thanking us for our business, then the assistant GM who wanted to talk sports.I went from feeling like I probably wouldnt be getting a new car to almost feeling obligated to buy one. The process was a little lengthy but nothing overbearing. As long as April enjoys driving KIA and I can keep getting her one, Crain Kia is the only place I will visit. Everyone and Everything we encounter today was top notched! Back to the couch! :)
