Long Walk Home So I still don’t have new sticks which means that I can’t play. By the time I finish work, all the shops are shut and they open at the exact time I start which means I’m screwed till Saturday. I’m hanging out for Saturday. On Saturday I will do nothing except go to the gym and drum and hopefully pick up my Apogee Duet. It will be a good day. The lack of drums has meant I’ve had time to think about other things – guitars mainly, but basses too. Mainly guitars. I love guitars. I really want a new Tele, or maybe just to drop some great new pick ups into the one I’ve got. I made the mistake yesterday of listening to E street Shuffle. Why is this a mistake? It’s a great song, but it made me all too aware of the mammoth task that I’ve set myself. Don’t get me wrong, I think I’m up for the challenge, but geez . . . it’s gonna be some challenge. I think I had better start that now. I know I said this yesterday, but having Lincoln the notebook really helps. It’s nice to have somewhere to write down any fears that I’m having as well as all of the songs I’m working on. It’s all in one neat little red book. I can’t emphasize enough how much that helps.
